Patrick Martin Promoted to General Manager of Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

Myrtle Beach, SC (February 21, 2024) –The luxurious and perennial four diamond Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is delighted to announce the promotion of Patrick Martin to the position of Hotel General Manager. Mr. Martin, who has been at the property since it opened in 2006 holding the positions of Financial Controller and Resort Manager, will be responsible for directing all aspects of day-to-day management and operations of the highly-popular 230-room Resort.
Mr. Martin replaces the retiring, seasoned hospitality professional David Nelson, former General Manager at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes since 2012. The announcement was made by Darin Miller, Vice President of Operations of Vista Property Management in Binghamton, NY.

Mr. Martin brings with him over 30 years of experience in hospitality management, most recently as Resort Manager at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes since pre-opening the resort in 2006. Prior to arriving at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes in 2006, Mr. Martin was a Regional Controller for GF Management Hospitality.
Mr. Martin earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Accounting, from West Virginia University.
